Tonight Pete and I were getting dinner ready and Dan was hovering around whining about this or that. I was starting to get a little claustrophobic so I asked Dan to go in the family room and give us a little space. Dan took a few steps in that direction and in his still whiny voice said, "But I like you guys!" And continued to tell us that he liked us until he won our hearts over and we wanted him back.
