Monday morning we received an unexpected early arrival... our baby! Joseph Peter Jackson was born 5 weeks early (!) and weighed 5 lbs. 8 oz. (I say his name is Joseph, but as some of you may recall we changed both John and Daniel's names after we got home from the hospital, so stay tuned... ) I started having some minor contractions Monday morning so Pete took me to the hospital to make sure everything was alright, and sure enough I was in labor! And to our relief the baby was born without complications and was able to come home with us after just a couple days. I can't believe pregnancy is over already, I was just beginning to brace myself for the last painful month! But I can't complain, I'm happy for it to be over. But I guess the hard part is really just beginning! Here are a few pics of the little guy...
The new addition! Unfortunately the hospital just made a new rule that no one under age 14 can come visit, so John and Daniel had to wait until we got home to meet their new baby brother.

Congrats I am glad all is well, I know it can be scary to go into labor early. Kind of a bummer the kids could not go to the hospital, that is always fun to have them there. He is a cutie.

I still CANNOT believe he is here already! Yay!!! I can't wait to meet him...we've stayed away cause Kaylie and Josh have been sick (yeah, while we were in Vegas...)
