Christmas in Seattle: round 3

Christmas Eve!
The boys filled half the day with a trip to the Seahawks Football game in Seattle.

When they got back we were ready to eat some soup then start right in with the traditional Christmas Eve festivities. Pajamas (we had already opened ours, so the kids got Christmas socks and scarves), acting out the nativity, and our name gift exchange.

John played Joseph with Audrey as Mary, Joe was a donkey, and Dan a wiseman.

John was probably the most excited to write a note to Santa and set out cookies for him.

Christmas morning! We all got up at 7am so we could be done and ready to go to church at 9. I just love these pictures of John and Dan with their sleepy yet excited eyes. These first few pics were taken by my dad with his nice camera... man, I sure do want one of those some day! I love how easy a good camera makes it to capture the moment. Since we opened most of our presents back in Michigan, there weren't too many to open here, which was actually kind of nice. But the kids all got their stockings full of fun treats and little toys, John and Dan both got a couple Lego sets, and Joe got a block sorting box.
