Joe's 2nd birthday!

It's hard to believe my baby is 2! Joe's birthday was October 19th. We lucked out with my sister and her kids here so were able to celebrate with them. Joe has been just about the best 3rd child I could have hoped for. He's good natured, loves to make us all laugh, can keep himself happy for a long period of time (sorry Joe, when time is shared with 2 other boys that's just what you learn to do), loves taking baths, pushing his scooter (never riding, just pushing), and loves to wrestle with his dad and jump on the trampoline.

The one activity we did was popping balloons with candy inside. The kids took turns popping the balloons with a pin. Unfortunately Joe wasn't feeling to great and didn't really participate.

But he did like eating all the fruit snacks and candy :)

The spread of presents. Not the best lighting and Joe wouldn't look up. Oh well.

For his birthday dessert we did cupcakes (we had a gift card). After about 3 bites we were all done in, those things are so rich!

A few random pics of our fun little Joe...

Joe can often be found walking around the house wearing mine or Pete's shoes.

Here's Joe pulling his strong face. He learned this from John, I love it. He'll make this muscle pose and then tense all the muscles in his face.

Joe has an unbelievably long attention span. Here he was sitting at the table tracing these letters for about 45 minutes! Look at that look of concentration :) He LOVES to draw, especially with markers. When all the kids sit down and color, Joe's usually the last one there.

Joe has certainly become one of the "big" kids. He follows his brothers everywhere and copies their every move.

Joe loves to read books. John and Dan woke up one morning and wanted to "read" to him. It only lasted 5 minutes or so, but what a sweet 5 minutes it was!

We love you Joe!
