Goodbye to summer

I can't believe summer is coming to a close. On Friday and Saturday the temperatures reached into the 90's, then by Monday the high fell to 67! Some people don't enjoy 90 degree humid weather, but I'm going to miss it so much! There's nothing better than taking the kids to the lake on a hot, humid day. I seriously love it. And I sure hope the cool weather isn't here to stay. Not yet. On Friday we took advantage of the hot weather and met some friends up at Independence Lake. Good times. I miss it already. I should really try to look forward to fall more. But it might take some work.
