Then on Valentines Day we went sledding with my sister and her little girl Katelyn, then decorated cupcakes with John later that night. His favorite part, of course, was eating them : )
Valentines Day
Pete and I celebrate Valentines Day on the 10th because that day is our first-date anniversary (the Valentines Dance our senior year of highschool). This year was our 8th first-date anniversary! I can't believe we've known each other that long. We dropped off the boys at my sisters house and then went grocery shopping together (romantic, I know), and cooked a yummy meal at our own home. It was actually very fun! Cooking is surprisingly quite enjoyable when you're not holding a kid in one arm and being pulled by another.
