John likes to call things by what they do when he doesn't know the name for them. It all started with "shooters" (aka guns). When he very first said that word it took me a second to realize what he was referring to. A gun shoots, so it must be called a shooter, right? Since then he has added "cutters" (swords and knives) to his vocabulary. Maybe we should correct him, but we kind of like these less violent sounding words : ) And yesterday he came up with the best one yet. He was looking for lego pieces and ran up to me and said, "Look! I found the treeer cutter downer!" aka the ax. Nice one.
